CUSTOM DRESSES & DRESS REDESIGN
Custom and redesigned dresses require several meetings and fittings over a 2 to 6-month timeframe with the final due date scheduled for no less than 3 weeks prior to your event. Custom pricing varies upon complexity and materials.
- CONSULTATION: Let's align on your project. Come prepared with your inspiration, and we will discuss possibilities. If we are a good fit for each other, we require a $50 non-refundable deposit for the development of the plan. This covers time spent for design thinking, sketching of style options, construction planning, estimation of labor hours and material sourcing.
- DESIGN, ESTIMATE & MATERIAL REVIEW: We will present the plan to you, then re-align. If you would still like to move forward, we require a 50% deposit of the estimate.
- FAUX DRESS FITTING: We will create a mock-up with faux fabric for an initial fitting. This will allow us to refine the fit and gives you the opportunity to make tweaks prior to creating the real dress.
- DRESS FITTING: Using the adjusted measurements from the preliminary dress, we will create the real dress, then we'll do the first real fitting.
- FINAL FITTINGS: We'll fix it. And then we'll fix it again if we need to. We won't stop until you absolutely love it! Final payment will be due at the final fitting.
OTHER DRESS SERVICES
Dresses are simply our thing. Whatever your dress situation may be, we most likely can and would love to help! A few examples of random projects we've done in the past are high end dress alterations, alterations consultations (understand your options), repurposing leftover fabric from sentimental dresses (i.e. flower girl or pup tutu out of wedding dress) and fashion art (i.e. fashion illustration, sketching, the wine cork dress).
